Hyper Recordz is a record label based in Winnipeg, Canada. It was created in 2012 and focuses on bridging modern sounds coming from Eastern Europe and North America. During the years of the Iron Curtain, from 1945 until 1990, pop and indie music from the West had an enormous impact on the youth living in Eastern Bloc countries. Jazz, Rock, and Electronica artists from the East on the other hand were, with some important exceptions, virtually unknown in the West.
